Dementia care is for people whose memory, thinking or behaviour means they need specialist support in a secure and reassuring environment. At Wimbledon Villa in Feilding, our Courtyard Wing is dedicated to dementia care, with trained staff, familiar routines, indoor walking spaces and two secure garden areas residents can step into throughout the day.
We get to know the person beyond the diagnosis — their history, routines, interests, culture and the things that help them feel settled. Rather than expecting everyone to fit the same programme, we adapt the day around the individual, whether that means music and company, helping in the garden, a quiet one-to-one moment or simply having time and space.
The person comes first. Dementia is only one part of their story.
